Event Narrative

"Above the Bourlon Forest, entire swarms of English squadrons are flying around, tightly packed in massed formations. Single-seaters and multi-seaters, aircraft of all types. At 2 o'clock in the afternoon on 23 November, Fighter Wing I joins the battle at Cambrai. The commander rattles off his machine gun bursts and the first Englishman swoops down from the swarm of wasps; Lieutenants Lothar von Richthofen and Küppers each take one."
